It looked original, and the price was good it fit perfectly

These are almost completely identical to the factory Rochester carburetors, however the jetting is different and the quality control is poor to put it lightly. Put two of these on a 1954 bel air 235 I6 engine and drove it a total of 68 miles before the idle mixture screw started vibrating loose while driving, and the accelerator pump on the other one starting seeping gas out onto the intake and exhaust manifold. Buy a rebuild kit for your factory Rochester and save your money

I had rebuilt an old carburetor for my 1957 Chevy. the kit was missing a part, so I decided to use this carburetor instead. We put it on the old Chevy and it ran like a champ!I am very please with it.

This was installed on a 1954 Chevy 210 sedan. This is a good replacement and works very well. The automatic choke would not open properly so I replaced it with the choke from the old carburetor. The mixture is too rich, probably because the car is at an elevation of 5000 ft. I would like to go to a size smaller main jet, but the jet in the carburetor doesn’t have a size stamp and the manufacturer doesn’t list the size in the specifications.
