Used on storage compartment doors on rv coach. Very strong supports, a little difficult to install on doors with limiting straps, hard to compress to install but works very well.

These were used to replace the original gas springs on our motorhome bay doors. Nothing last for ever and these new replacements keep the door open even in strong winds.

We don’t know anything about how to install gas springs, but they seem to work well as designed. I found an online gas spring calculator that was of some help, but not knowing the exact weight of the camper bed and hatch we’re trying to lift was a problem we couldn’t solve, so we ended up guessing and using trial and error. (So far, mostly error). I called SUSPA and they called right back. The tech was as helpful as he could have been given the circumstances. We’re quite experienced at carpentry and wood working, we will figure it out eventually, but this has been a humbling experience so far.

I selected Suspa struts over the others offered on Amazon, because they are made in the USA. While made in the USA, pricing was also very competitive to the foreign offerings. Suspa was recommended to me by a fellow RV owner, and so far they have not disappointed. They are performing as expected, and doing a great job at keeping the storage doors open on my motorhome.
