The manufacturer is very candid about the gaps at the sides of the windshield for this custom fit for 2024 F-150. They indicate it is so that it will go in place without damaging the firmness of the panels. I don’t think it is enough of a gap to make a big difference in the amount of heat that comes into the cab. This one small item regarding fit is more than offset by the build of this and ease of putting it in place and taking out and putting in handy bag it comes with. I stow this behind the passenger seat for ease of access, but put it under the back seat in cargo should we have a full cap of passengers. I love how it goes in place fast with no need to fold just right like my legacy one that did not quite fit the new truck windshield. Overall a good value and the one minor item with fit is not a big deal. It would be had the manufacturer not specially indicated why this was there. That would have led many to believe they did not get the correct shield.

I had high hopes for this sun shade. It is very well built, thick, and durable. Also looks great, but unfortunately it is not a custom fit. I have a 2024 f-150 that it is supposed to fit perfectly. Not even close. I struggled with it for fifteen minutes. Couldn’t get the upper corners in. Bottom corners had inch and a half gaps. Had to move the mirror all around to get it past. The shade is not flexible. Panels are hard and hinge on the soft material between them. Therefore cannot be bent into place. I’m so disappointed. The shade looks awesome and I really wanted it to work. I’ll give it a try in my dad’s f-350. Maybe I’ll have better luck.

Had a chance to try this out yesterday and it worked great. The fit was spot on and it kept the truck a lot cooler than otherwise. I appreciated the small bag the object came it. It appeared to be solid and folded up easily when it was time to leave. It even went in easily into the bag when I was through. All in all, a good option for F150’s
I kind of know what im talking about –
I personally really like this sun shade. It does a great job of taking up the entire windshield, keeping the sun out, and my truck much cooler. That comes at a price though, and just monetarily. This things obviously can’t be rolled up like the flexible options, so you have to be ok with this thing living in your back seat during the summer. I don’t keep a lot of stuff int he back of my truck ,and rarely have passenger in the back seat, so that’s not a big deal for me. If you’re always carrying passengers in the back though, this might not be for you.

Very thick and sturdy. Does a even better job a keeping my truck cool and protected from the sun. Fits perfectly on my 2018 F150. This is a premium product. The only draw back is that when folded up, it still takes up a lot of space. But that is the price you pay for the extra protection!
