It is definitely a grape smelling gear oil, even the used stock stuff came out grape smelling. I like it better than smelling regular gear oil. Works as intended. I like to use what came with the car because you can never quite get the old out so mixing the same kind seems like a better idea to me.

2013 silverado stock fluid. And you do NOT add lsd additive if you have a g80

Picked up this 10-4016 from dealership in 2019 to clean, drain, and replace fluid in my 2014 Suburban LT 4×4 rear differential along with a FEL-PRO RDS 55480 gasket. After 4 years, I now ordered both of these from Amazon (9/2023) to replace again at 218k miles.
