This 4D Tech Stop/Start Eliminator doesn’t just keep the auto stop/start feature always turned off but, allows you to enable and disable the feature by pushing the auto stop button on the vehicle console as you normally would from the factory. Then the eliminator remembers whether you have the feature enabled or disabled when the engine is turned off and keeps it in that mode when the engine is restarted.Taking the vehicle to the dealer for service? Just enable the feature and every time they start the engine the feature will be enabled as normal from the factory. Get in miles long backed up traffic on the interstate? Push the console button to enable the feature and save some gas until you get past the hold up.Bottom line – this 4D Tech device makes the Auto Stop/Start feature work like it logically should have from the factory! Just be sure to follow the VIDEO to install and NOT the printed instructions that come with the device! (Printed instructions state the wrong connector for the Durango)
