Do you have experience pump shut off while refueling when your tank isn’t close to full, do you need to set the pump nozzle to the lowest setting in order to trickle gas into your tank? It’s probably a clogged up vent canister like this one… but s***. These canisters are located above the tank and they help regulate/filter gas vapors displaced from your tank when refueling. The price on amazon is unbeatable. The quality is OE, even though OE GM quality is questionable it’s pretty hard to screw up a part like this.Buy it.It will take the hassle out of fueling.I also recommend you check out the vent solenoid that goes with this canister system too. It’s very cheap on amazon.

THese always plug with dust on GMs .. Replaced now pump gas into tank at full speed!!My Cadillac and impalas have had this issue,, easy to change if sorta mechanical

While it didn’t fix the reason for the P0466 code, it was clogged and did help with the slow refueling problem on our ’02 Pontiac Grand Prix GT… The canister on this model is mounted with a heavy duty tie-strap to the top, rear driver’s side of the fuel tank… Needless to say, the tank needed to be dropped to replace the canister, hence the reason for the rating for ease of installation…
