The third ones’ the charm! It’s great to be able to see my oil pressure presented in a digital mode with an accompanying band that raises as the numbers go up! A very usable, useful tool and it’s easy to understand as well as read. Along with my AEM boost gauge and my AEM air/fuel gauge, all of them matching and all look fantastic!

I bought this gauge along with a boost gauge. It is a very responsive gauge. The LED lighting is bright enough to see in daylight, and it has a ambient light sensor to automatically dim (you can test it by shining a flashlight at it). It is very sensitive (which may be a bad thing, the number is constantly flickering), perhaps an analog gauge, or a digital one with a needle might have been better but I like this gauge regardless. The sensor is very responsive as far as I can tell. The picture for this item is inaccurate – it shows the truboost controller/gauge. The digital display in the center is pretty much like that, but the ring of leds around the outside do not ‘fill’ as depicted; rather it is single LED that is lit at any time.Overall, it’s a very good gauge to have in a performance car. Apart from knowing the oil pressure, you can easily tell how warmed up your oil is by observing the pressure at idle. For example, on a cold start, the oil pressure is around 100psi, but by the time the oil has warmed up, it drops as low as 18psi at idle.

Works great. Fairly simple install. Just make sure you don’t install into your oil pan since you don’t usually get much of a pressure reading from the pan. Only con is that I wish it had a backlight. Only light on the gauge is the LED number and the LED dial/needle. I don’t understand what the point of even having a face on the gauge is if you can’t read it except in the daylight or with a flashlight.

Installed in my Subaru, the gauge can bounce around a bit, but nothing more than any other electric gauge I have used. The included black face plate is great for a more stealth install, very nice this kit comes with both options to allow you to choose white or black face plate. The auto-dimming is quick to respond and adjusts to the perfect light level at night.

Installation was straightforward, I wrapped the sensor threads in 2 layers of teflon pipe tape then threaded it into a brass “T” block next to the notoriously inaccurate factory sensor. The gauge works well and responds very quickly.

Purchased for a 16 sti, works very well after a 3 minutes of starting car. Gave it 4 stars because when I start up my car the gauge reads 0 for 2-3 minutes then slowly increases, 5 minutes later it reads correctly. This only occurs on a cold start. The first 6 months I had the gauge this was not the case, it read high on cold starts then slowly went down, I’ve had this gauge for 8 months so far and I don’t know if it will eventually die soon, unless this is normal after 6 months, overall reads correct wile driving and at idle.

Works great so far.Need a brass adapter for the sender to screw into a GM 3800 SII engine

I thought it would be a good product, was missing pieces according to everything I could find online.

This gauge was easy to install. Nice low profile gauge fits great on my A pillar. The best part is the illumination is perfect day or night. Not to bright at night to be distracting.

pricy but good

Had installed in my car 18 months now. Works perfectly, except one segment of 1 segment of the 7 segment display has stopped working. This could be due to sun exposure though, so make sure to avoid heat with these!
