Was going to replace my helmet which I love, and someone suggested just getting new pads. these are great and return the helmet to a good fit. As others have stated, they are thicker than the originals, so adjustment will be needed. I used the extra Velcro tabs that came with it to increase the number of security points to the helmet shell.

These pads (and a dunk in a sink of soapy water to clean the helmet straps) just saved me from the cost of a new helmet! Perfect replacement. As noted in other reviews, these are considerably thicker than the originals. I think they are better than the originals because they are thicker. Just adjust the fit on your helmet.

The pads were exactly what was described and expected in that they were cookie cutter simple shapes from generic foam with cone cloth on one side and Velcro friendly material on the other. The pads are not as finished as the original pads, but they will do the job. These pads are thicker, so be sure you have the room.Guess I find sufficient value in these pads rather than try to find similar material and cut my own.

My helmet pads were smelly, thin, and starting to fall apart, and Trek does not make replacements for my model. So far so good. The pads fit perfectly, the velcro works and it feels like I have an almost-new helmet.
