It fit great, felt great, turned the motor over….but didn’t start the tractor, almost took a star off.

After I rebuilt my 1949 Ford 8n I had a hard time starting it with the push button starter. Found out when pull starting it as soon as I let go of the clutch that it would fire right up. Haven’t figured out that problem yet. Not sure if it’s the 6 volt system or what. But anyway after ordering this hand crank, I stick it in thought the grill and give it a hard half turn and it fires right up. Works great!

Seems to be good quality, but is too short to use on our 2N. It hits on the brush guard.
Becky Eaton –
Works like it should.

Not much can be said, it’s a piece of steel with a dowel pin. The dowel pin is too wide and won’t fit through the access hole. A file will fix the issue and I am sure it’ll be fine, just ticked that I have to “adjust it”.

To turn tractor engine over

For $60 it should come ready to use. Doesn’t fit thorough the hole on a Ford 8N. The grill is worn on my 8N so fits through that but stops at the next opening. I’ll have to take grinder to the dowel pin to make it a bit smaller

Small cross pin is too long for a far mall cub.
