The threads are 1/2 NPT but the nipple is a bit smaller than 5/8. Still sealed up properly with a hose clamp.

Seems decent quality, the problem is the 5/8″ barb is more like a big 1/2″ with a ID around 5/16″.

Ordered a 3/8 npt and 5/8 barb/15.8mm. NPT thread was right. Barb wasn’t even close.This fitting will not work with 5/8 (.625″) hose. It measures at .568 or 14.5mm and fits too loosely in the hose for a hose clamp to work properly.
