I refuse to buy a boat trailer that isn’t galvanized. Every time I see a fool with a painted trailer I think what an idiot and what a great dealer that sold him that crap. The same goes for wheels and I don’t just mean for boat trailers, ALL trailers. If you can just get the galvanized, they will still look great for 20 years and beyond. I got these to replace 4.8-8 tires and wheels because they were cheaper than the smaller size. The offer better floatation to boot and still fit on the trailer under the fenders. Seems like a no brainer to me and now when the tires die from old age, I can just get new tires. My old wheels were no longer usable and this was only on a utility trailer that never saw salt water.

Went with one size bigger on my trailer. Heavier load capacity and they look and work great.

These are just the ticket for spare tire small boat trailer safety! Galvanized and ready to roll when needed. I think its a good idea to use a matched set when replacing a flat tire, not just one, but thats just my OCD so use your own judgement. A single tire at local store is almost the same cost without the galvanized wheel !!So two for the price of one is hard to pass up these days. On further examination, not sure these are actually galvanized wheels as it looks more like aluminum colored paint than galvanizing. would have to scrape down to bare metal to be certain for galvanizing and do not want to do that really.

These are a nice sturdy tire that I put on the trailer for my 14 foot boat. The boat is bare aluminum so the grey wheels look good with the boat. I wanted just a plain wheel like this, nothing fancy with spokes or white paint etc. Was glad to find these, they have just the look I wanted as well as durable speed and load ratings that will be more than adequate for this smaller trailer.
