This is a decent, functional funnel. The hand grips are pretty shallow…only the tips of my fingers fit. The tube is removable and very thin. One errant footstep, wheel, or drop and it will crack or come off. Works well though.

if you need it to work on something by a particular date and need a flex funnel, do not order this one, it must be packaged separately or something and I received only the funnel part without the ‘flexible’ part. so that is a high risk to you not having this when you need it.

I really like this funnel. It came with a plastic tube on the end which is bendable (think of a bendy straw, but larger). I didn’t end up using that (you can pull it off), but it’s a cheap funnel that worked perfectly for my needs. For $6, you can’t complain.

The funnel came with an extra plastic extension which made it super easy to use. It even is suitable for using 5 quart bottles of oil, which is actually the reason why I bought this in the first place. I guess my only gripe about this is that it takes a tiny bit of coordination to keep the funnel in the right orientation while also managing to pour a 5 quart bottle, but that’s easy to get used to.

some of this is my fault for trusting the funnel, but the flexible end comes off very easily and in fact dropped into my farm tractors differential. causing me about 8 hours to take the rear lift housing off and retrieve it

The feature I was looking for in a funnel is a flexible tube to reach the transmission dipstick tube. I’m surprised they barely mention it their product description – “Conveniently molded for holding oil bottles inside funnel flexible tube for ease of use”, (no comma) and not even shown in the photo. I think it should be corrected to read “Conveniently molded for holding oil bottles inside funnel, flexible accordion tube for ease of use.” Some of the Q&A mentions the tube, so I purchased it, and it works like a charm. I like the extra large tube with the molded hand holds, and the splash guard. I would caution to extend the accordion flex tube gingerly. The material is necessarily thinner than the tub for flexibility, so when you extend the tube gently rock it back and forth rather than brutely pull straight out.

Can I say that it puts the fun back in funnel. Okay I’m sorry, but couldn’t help myself. Actually is a good funnel for the price and works well with oil change. Mine came with a flexible down spout that I didn’t expect. The plastic is vacuum molded so it’s fairly light weight.. It’s probably best suited for light use. It holds enough volume that we didn’t spill oil on our engine so I like for the money

After 20 years of doing oil changes with whatever funnels happened to be laying around the garage, I decided to treat myself and cough up 8 bucks for something that didn’t perch precariously in the oil fill hole, drain as slow as molasses, and threaten to dump oil all over your engine if you dared take your hand off it.It’s hard to write an exciting review about a funnel, but this Hand-E funnel is just plain well thought out and does exactly what it should. It fits snugly into the oil fill hole on all 3 of my cars (1 Korean, 2 Japanese for what it’s worth), has a nice wide mouth to drain quickly, and perfectly holds a quart bottle if you feel the need to get every last drop. 5 stars and worth all 8 bucks!
