Source product highlights
- Restore power and performance – Restores lost power and performance by removing gum, varnish, and other fuel system deposits.
- Maximize fuel economy – Keeps engines clean, and protects from deposits that rob engine efficiency and reduce fuel economy.
- Protect the fuel system and fuel gauge sensor from various types of corrosion – Multiple corrosion inhibitors protect metal components (both ferrous components like iron and steel, and non-ferrous components like copper and silver) from the damaging effects of corrosion.
- Vehicles with higher mileage accumulation can suffer from the effects of age – including carbon build-up and corrosion in the fuel system. Techron High Mileage Fuel System Cleaner helps keep your engine humming, no matter how many roads your vehicle has traveled.
- Techron High Mileage Fuel System Cleaner is fully compatible and protective in all commercially available ethanol blends (E10, E85, etc).

Can’t say for 100% but feels it worked!

Excellent product, gas mileage improved with the first tratment.
Springer Pup –
Works well in small equipment, pressure washers, lawn mowers, etc. to keep that fuel system clean and working. A small cost to avoid bigger problems, especially with the quality in today’s gas.

I’m a long-time user of fuel treatments. The good ones really do work to maintain good fuel mileage and a good idle. I’m aware of what are reputed to be and seem to be the two (maybe three) BEST brands. Chevron Techron is one of those brands. This is my first purchase of the High Milage version, but one assumes it is just a more concentrated offering of the usual product.
All About The Journey –
The fuel gauge on our 2006 Toyota 4Runner was not working properly. After refueling, the gauge would sometimes read full, sometimes half full. It was very erratic. After using the Chevron fuel system cleaner on two fill ups, the gauge started working correctly again. It’s been over a month and the fuel gauge is still working correctly. I’ve ordered a couple more bottles for future use, if necessary.

Chevron Techron came on my radar decades ago when BMW said, in their research, it helped prevent deposits on valves. I add a bottle to my tank only occasionally, and usually shortly before i’m planning to do an oil change to help clear any deposits.
Humpy –
The only one used in this household. Does the job as stated in all our high mileage vehicles. Chevron comes through again.

Best way to clear the carbon out of your valve train and pistons.
