it works fine, but its not 14 inchs in cable but 14 feet. i could have bought the shorter one and saved some money

I used this cable to replace the vacumm actuator of the 4 wheel drive axle lock in my 1999 Dodge Ram. This is a pretty heavy duty cable, and is perfect for this use. Seems like it will last a good long time. The 3-winged locking collor is nice as you can easily operate the red button, I guess this is some what of a locking feature also, and reach down with a finger and rotate the locking collar to keep everything locked in.

Bit pricey but for a Dorman product I was surprised at how thick and sturdy it is. Perfect to eliminate that stupid setup chevy retards came up with.

Worked great at first but after a while it jammed up (after minimal use) and could no longer move in/out.Length is good and I can’t find any alternatives so I’ll have to give it another shot?

Found out it was defective. Sadly, I procrastinated installing it and is out of time to return. Just doesn’t move in and out.

Ordered 3 total and 2 of them broke in less than 5 uses. Both of them the crimp failed holing the cable to the handle.
