We had a lengthy period where our A/C would shut off after a few minutes and not come back on for hours. It would also not even turn on at all sometimes. When this occurred, the voltage at the thermostat was reading 1.5v instead of the 27v it read when working correctly. It appears that the control board had deteriorated over time and was most affected when it got really hot, which was not the best time for this to happen. More than pleased with the product. Can’t beat the price.I did have a shipping issue where Amazon had listed the unit as “in stock” and then informed me the next day that it was out of stock and would take a week to get to me. Naturally, with a house at 95 degrees, I was not too happy. To Amazon’s credit, they did resolve it very quickly and I had the unit a couple of days later. Good work Amazon!

plain and simple. HVAC companies want around 500-600 dollars to replace this. It’s a 20 minute job. The one from 5-star went out and I put this in. Up and running with no problems. Looks identical to OEM unit.Always keep a spare for a goodman!

Tree outside our house got hit by lightning. Three houses in a row had their A/Cs taken out by it. The local HVAC charged the neighbors hundreds of dollars to fix their boards and quoted me $375 for mine. I ordered this board for my Goodman Gas Pak and it came in a few days later. I shut off the breaker and took my time to replace the board on my Goodman Gas Pak unit. Took about 20mins switching one wire at a time. A/C fired right up afterwards. This item saved me $300. Very happy with the item.
