When used with a dished flexplate, this adapter will go between the flexplate and the torque converter to properly engage the snout on a non-LS style torque converter as an alternative to using slip-on style converter snout adapters. This adapter is not needed if using an LS-specific torque converter with a dished flexplate. Machined from high quality steel with a black oxide finish. Note: The use of this spacer will require longer flexplate bolts. ARP Kit # 244-2902 is recommended.
