Dispersed Camper Man –
After six weeks this remote started falling apart. The front face feels like paper which was glued onto the front. The glued on front of it failed, and it started to curl. I had this remote stored in my camper when not in use. I’ve contacted the business via email. Still waiting for a response. I’ll update this review if/when they contact me. I wouldn’t recommend it. Very cheaply made.Update: December 9, 2016I did receive a replacement for GAMA Electronics, Inc. After a couple of emails (see below) back and forth with attached photos of the falling apart remote, I just got a replacement remote in the mail today. I do have to say GAMA Electronics do stand behind their products. I was impressed with their customer service. In one of the emails after they viewed the photographs, he stated it looked like the remote got wet. The remote did not get wet, I had it handing in my truck camper when it was not in use and no water was introduced on the remote. It felt like the glue holding the face plate on came undone. I’ve changed this review from a 1 star to a 5 star.December 2, 2016 Email from me to GAMAI bought the camper jack control remote MPD 85442 about 6 weeks ago. It stopped working and the glued on front cover is falling off. Any chance for a replacement? Thanks. MarkDecember 5, 2016 Email from GAMA to meWhat exactly do you mean that it stopped working? Is it totally dead? Thanks,John GolbeckGAMA Electronics, Inc.December 5, 2016 email from me to GAMAJohn, It is completely dead. After about 4 weeks hanging in my truck camper, I went to use it for a trip. The front face piece is peeling off and none of the buttons work. I’ve attached photos. Thanks MarkDecember 6, 2016 Email from GAMA to meIt looks like it got wet. We will send a new transmitter.

Work edvad advertised. Put in batteries and it raised and lowered my jacks without having to mess with micro switches to change frequently.

I’d lost my controller and ordered this one. It didn’t work at all for my atwood jacks. Item was returned…thankfully I’ve since found my old one.
Avid Consumer Guy –
Worked like a charm.

GAMA sent a product that cannot be used as received, with a dead battery, that requires rewiring and melting solder and providing a connective part, (such as from a discarded smoke sensor from a house), to connect to the new 9-volt battery that they provided; and then duct-taping the new battery to the outside of the control, with the wires going outside through a drilled hole, or somehow sawing off the old battery, which is inside a molded plastic cover. The whole deal is a ripoff. No return invoice was provided. I have had this kind of ripoff from Amazon before, such as a ceramic bowl with chipped edges and no invoice.

There’s no instructions and it doesn’t work as I can’t even turn it onI emailed their help line and got past off to another party who I can’t contact for accurate information

My camper jack remote stopped working, so I purchased this as a possible replacement. It didn’t work with my 2011 Atwood system, I then ordered replacement polarity reverse receiver & activation panel, and the three together work like a dream! Jacks go up & down on demand as they should. 5 star!

Put the 9 volt battery into the transmitter, turned on the receiver in the camper and it worked as it should.
