Box was marked Subaru and was a genuine Subaru part at half the price from dealer numbers matched old unit that came out of the car perfectly fit back all original completely fixed the a/c due to it being a ditch issue prettty easy install hardest thing that required a blood sacrifice from my knuckles was the cable locks under the dash other than that plug and play reasonably shipped great packaging and saved a 600 dollar bill from the shop that wanted to do the work!!

This is a commonly needed replacement part in 2010-2014 Subaru Impreza and Crostrek. This part contains the vent settings knob, fan speed controls, and AC temp control. If the fan control fails in position 4 you need this part. If positions 1, 2, or 3 fail check other parts before replacing this, since this is the most expensive part of the system that controls fan speed. If you replace this unit you will most likely need to replace the six lead power connector. This develops a short and burns and partially melts the connector (probably caused by the switch gradually failing before the fan stops working).

If this isn’t an OEM part its a very good clone! I would recommend it if you are in the market for one.
