Gas Charged Lift Supports are energy storage devices which create force by compressing gas inside a cylinder. Unless shown as a universal, each Lift support listed in this imaginebroward.org item is specifically manufactured to OEM specifications for the listed application. Each support is tested to perform as well as the original units and in many cases to exceed the manufacturers specification. Lift Supports lose pressure over time, even sitting on shelves in most auto parts stores and many of the inventory liquidators on the web. *Please Note* If your existing part number does not exactly match this part number internal components could be different.

I’ve got a 2012 ARE brand camper top for my Nissan Titan.. these struts fit it just fine and easy installation. Took 5 minutes total. Just pop the clip at the end with a small flat screwdriver but don’t pop them off.. just enough too open the ends so the mounting balls can slide over, pop clip back down and your done. I would recommend this product

Thanks to the reviewer who posted these were the perfect replacement for an A.R.E. Z series topper. I bought my 2019 F-150 with the topper already on it. The glass always opened kinda lazy and the one time I needed to drive down the road with it open it flopped crazily enough I had to shut it and figure something else out. Just one of these new ones installed with one original strut flung the glass wide open. We use Suspa shocks at work on a fairly large 10+ year old roller conveyor system that runs two 11 hour shifts six days a week for automatic tensioning of the drive belts and many of them are the originals so these should last well.

This was a perfect replacement for the Stabilus 003515 200N strut on my truck cap.Use caution though. A new strut will fling the hatch up into your chin when you’ve been used to an old slow and weak one.

Got an A.R.E. camper shell that the struts have gone bad. Then these are the struts you need. About a third of the price and work great.

WE have needed these for so long, they were so ease to install and work so well, we just love not having to use a 2×4 to hold up the camper door. Thank you

This is a quality product that installed in minutes. It was a direct replacement for my A.R.E. cap. I searched for a replacement and I am glad I found these supports.

Great quality replacement part- correct size shipped the first time- previous bought at Napa but three times they sold me incorrect size- very easy to get replacement from model number on damaged pieces- cheaper than Napa by about 20 bucks a pair.
