The petcock valve that came with tank does not thread onto base provided. Male end is tapered and does not catch threads until inserted 1/3 of the way and leaves no room for washers to be used. Have not been able to find 2-piece style(base plate/valve) that will fit on the tank making the new tank useless. The tank seems well made and fits in place of the old tank perfectly. Hopefully I will find out how it performs. I have two tab shops trying to find a petcock that will work with provided tank so I don’t have to buy a whole new one again.
